The 5 Gears - a parent's guide - how to be present and productive when there is never enough time

This 1.5 hour workshop will be focusing on a simple but powerful tool called The 5 Gears, based on a book by the same name.  This workshop will help you to connect more effectively to those around you, whilst being as productive as possible.  It will teach you to shift in to the right gear at the right time, so you can powerfully improve your relationships whilst still getting things done.   All too often we go through life without truly connecting and can, as a result, miss out on experiences and relationships that have the power to bring us great joy. By understanding how the five gears work, you can improve your ability to connect with the world around you.   After the workshop you will know how to be in the right gear at the right time and which gears you tend to favour or struggle to get in to.  Using the correct gears can transform your day from a bad one to a good one!   A mum who attended one of my workshops on the 5 Gears says, "So before listening to Jackie, I had been feeling quite upset and a little stressed about me not having time to listen to my children and not giving them my time and not being able to fit homework in.  As a result of understanding the 5 Gears, this has all changed, just from doing a few simple things differently.  I also realised that 'me time' is as important as all the other gears, so probably every other Friday since, I have had half a day to go and get my hair done or nails or just go to café somewhere and read my book and genuinely not feel guilty about it."
